Coaching a Team of Girls is Different From Coaching Boys
One of the most important things I learned when training to be a coach was that girls need to be accepted before they put in the effort which results in performance.
Boys on the other hand will put in the effort on day one to achieve performance which then gains them acceptance to the team. I already knew this intuitively and now I have the language to back-up by methodologies. Group sessions are designed for learning as well as creating a sense of belonging with your athletes.
